Brakes
As a part of general prep, and the fact that I had lifted the truck a little, and needed to install some extended lines, in July, 2010, I added ORD Stainless Extended brake lines, flushed the fluid (replaced with DOT4) and replaced the MC. The MC was leaking a bit (the pedal would eventually hit the floor)
I also have a Motive brand power brake flusher (I actually owned it to do the clutch in my Saab), and I bought the adapter to do the chevy MC. TOTAL P.O.S. In stock format, it is essentially impossible to get it to seal. So I fashioned another mental plate to back it, and used an assortment of clamps as seen below. THis enabled me to get up over 20psi...
