Tires

I bought the Truck with some slightly oversized (and worn) Pro-Comp All Terrains. They simply weren't aggressive enough, and I knew I wanted more clearance. I looked around and decided (after copious measuring) on these:

Here is a comparison of the treads (not actually my tires, but the one on the left is an Xterrain and the one of the right is an ALL terrain):

Here is what The 4wheelparts.com website has to say about these tires (I have 315/75 R16's on it)... They are also one of the few tires in that size range that you can get in D load rating, which I felt was important for a truck as heavy as mine.

Pro Comp Xterrain's

The Pro Comp Xterrain's high void directional tread pattern takes over where other directional tires leave off.

The Xterrain's extra thick side wall treatment helps resist scrapes and cuts, maximize a biting edge side wall for increased traction on rocks or in mud.

Dualguard TM Polyester Body Plies consist of thick 2 ply polyester construction combined with a blend of dual side wall rubber allowing for maximum puncture resistance with total flexibility when using lower air pressure off road without excessive heat build up.
